Privacy policy

• Account details: your name, and the mobile number or email you verify. A profile photo and a short bio if you add them.
• Listings and messages: what you list (including photos, which moderators can review and remove) and the chats you have with other users.
• Transactions: orders, offers, reviews, and dispute records — the history both parties rely on.
• Technical records: sign-in device information and security logs, used to protect accounts from takeover.

• Running the marketplace: listings, search, chat, orders and reviews.
• Keeping Tradehub safe — fraud prevention, moderation, account security.
• Sending you codes to sign in, order updates, and (if you enable them) notifications.
• Responding to disputes and support requests.

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't send marketing messages without your consent.

• Other users see your public profile: name, photo, ratings, reviews and your listings. Your phone number and email are never shown to other users.
• Payment providers process mobile-money payments when you pay through the platform.
• Moderators review reported listings, photos and messages.
• The law — we disclose information when legally required in Zambia.

Marketplace records (orders, reviews, dispute outcomes) are kept while your account is open, because public trust history is the point of the platform. When you delete your account, your personal details are removed and your profile is erased; the conversation and order history survives without your identity attached, and records we must legally retain are kept only for that purpose.

• Correct your name, bio, location and photo from your account page.
• Delete listings, messages you sent, and saved searches at any time.
• Download the personal data connected to your account from account → your data.
• Delete your account — see account → your data for what is erased and what must remain.

Sessions are protected with encrypted cookies, passwords are stored with modern one-way hashing, and sign-in codes expire quickly. No system is perfect — report anything suspicious to info@tradehubzm.com.
